I used to eat a lot of bread, pasta, rice and pizza. I would have about 6 pieces of bread in total a day- and when we had pasta for dinner, i would eat a lot. I realized that I was eating too many carbs and have decided to cut out ALL bread and sweet foods (candy, cakes etc.) from my diet and eat small, normal sized portions of pasta and rice (either rice or pasta just once a week) I'm going to start eating tuna and peanuts and cheese (instead of bread and sweets) I don't have a weight problem or a problem with over eating (except for carbs). I am actually not a 'big eater' and so i never understood why i wasnt thinner. But not i get how the foods i used to eat didnt allow me to lose weight, especially since i was eating them in excess. i dont exercise, but im very active during the day and I walk to school everyday. Do you think this is enough to lose weight? and how long before i see a difference? I will also be trying to drink 4 bottles of water a day btw im female, 17, about 140 pounds.

I think itll be a pretty big difference within a few weeks. but remember, if you go right back to eating it all over again as soon as you lose that weight, you will gain it all back plus some. i would also reccomend running 4-5x a week for 30+ minutes

The body won't release fat unless the blood stream is clear of insulin. I recommend Atkins program, but you can try & make up your own program & see if it works.
