(10 points) Do you get a Dieting 'high' the first few days of a diet?
Hey guys,I've noticed that when I first start a diet or life style change, I get this awesome high feeling. I feel better than ever, have more energy and I love myself and my life. After about three days this usually starts to fade. The come down is pretty hard.and I just feel hungry and no longer feel like everything is great....Anyone get this? Or have any suggestions for hope to deal with this?Okay, but that doesn't explain why after about three day I feel a huge let down...I always eat 'healthy' just not low cal. or low carb... I don't eat take out or tv dinners. I cook all my meals. I use veggies all the time. How come went I cut the carbs down to a minimum and try to watch the calories, this changes?

Is there any way to lose weight from legs with just dieting a certain way?
I've been watching what i eat for some months now and ive lost some weight and some inches on my waist and hips but my thighs not legs just dont get smaller i have these horrible saddlebags and my thighs look massive will they eventually slim down with eating healthier, should i just be patient? is there any food such as eating protein or something that will help get rid of fat in the thigh area? THanks btw, i really dont want to exercise..

Decent, working diets?
Okay, I really need to diet but don't really want one of those 'cut out the snacks' diet cause they don't really work . This might seem a little unhealthy but does anyone know any " extreme" diets that work fast. I'm looking to lose quite a few pounds. I found an amazing diet before where i lost 5 pounds in 3 days but that works once because the metabolism system gets used to it. Help please? x

Fruit diet for 2 weeks?
i'm planning on losing 28 pounds to get in modeling. and with diets i don't like meat or veggies, i don't liek alot of foods, so i found this fruit diet and i was contemplating on doing it for 2 weeks with eating about 4 fruits a day with lots of water and a ''cup a soup'' which is only about 50 calories and walking for about 30 mins everyday, do you think i can do it ? please leave comments if you have done this fruit diet and tell me how it worked for you thanks

How many carbs should you consume a day on the HCG diet?
I am on round one phase 2 day 2. It has been A LOT easier than I thought and although I felt really yucky yesterday I feel AMAZING TODAY and have already lost 3.5 lbs. My question though is how many carbs should you stay between a day? I am following the recipes and instructions to a T that I got with my hcg, but my carb intake seems high. On my LAST LOADING day I had consumed 356 G of carbs. On VLCD day 1, I consumed 368 calories and 29 carbs and so far today I have consumed 160 cals and 26 I am confused The majority of the carbs are coming from the apple and melba toast I eat though. I keep reading you should stick to about 20 carbs a day but so far I am finding that impossible. So any input would be VERY helpful THANKS

How did the 3 hour diet help people lose weight?
I read in the 2006 book " The Reality Diet" that just because you're hungry every 3 hours doesn't mean you're in starvation mode it just means you've trained your body to be hungry every 3 hours. I'm confused how it works. If it works it seems to be for very disciplined people. I personally think its easier to burn off more calories than you take in when you just have three meals a day.

4lbs in one day?! How can I tell is it's bloating? Is my diet wrong?
Im female, 22yrs, 5'5'', and last week 135lbs. Im trying to get down to 115lbs. I started my diet this week, ive been eating 1200 1500 calories of fruit, salads with proteins, lean meats, yogurts, and fiber cereals fiber one , this week some dried fruit handful of dried mango slices as snack .Usually I run, but this week i cant because i am working 9a midnight on two jobs. Ill start running before work next week So here's why im writing. Last week i was 135lbs. i know i had 2 days of picnics and pizza but after calculating the calories the MOST I could of gained was 1 2lbs. Ive been counting my calories this week, and even been walking more to and from work...but the scale has been Climbing? monday it said 138lbs? then 139.6lbs? then today 139.8lbs? why? Im not gaining muscles because i usually run and im not this week...the most ive eaten this week is 1500 cals....what is going on If it was water weight wouldnt it go down by now? I even drank 7 full tall glasses of water yesterday to try and flush it out...please give me some advice, or help me with my diet. I am very determined to get down to 115lbs.thanks.

Good, healthy diet tips?
I don't want to lose weight, I just want to be heathlier. I snack a lot, and I'm not very healthy. I have red circles under my eyes which are REALLY ugly. Could anyone suggest any tips to get rid of them? thanks also, I want to know how to squeeze my five a day into a tight schedule yes, I do eat a lot of veg, but not so much fruit. Could diet drinks be the cause of my weight loss stopping?
i recently turned vegan and all of a sudden within a week i'd lost half a stone. i didnt have fizzy drinks that week and all was fine. in the past two weeks i've been drinking A LOT of diet coke, diet energy drinks etc. and this last week i've randomly gained 2 pounds even on a low calorie intake. could it be the diet drinks because ive read that they can be bad for your weight? confuse your body thank you
