Question: Please evaluate my daily diet?

Hello, all yahoo users, i want someone to evaluate what i eat every day to make sure i have a balancing diet. breakfast: 120 gram yam 240 unsweetened soy milk 30 g cereal lunch 1 slice wheat toast no butter 1 slice of ham 1 low fat cheese 1 whole egg snack grapefruit dinner 45 g wheat noodles 100g tofu 200 g or more broccoli 100g mushroom 10 pieces of almond do i have a balancing diet? how many protein do i get? thanks all

It is a healthy menu but not really balanced. You should have protein at each meal. Try an egg in the morning. Add peanut butter to your snack or greek yogurt or almonds. You don't need the almonds at dinner - your dinner is pretty good. Rule of thumb: 3-4oz of protein, 1-2 cups of veg, 1 cup of carbs (noodles, pasta, rice, potatoes, 1 serving of bread rolls) Good luck
