Will i lose weight with this diet/exercise?

Let me state first, i don't really care about numbers. i care about what i look like. i'm 5'2 " about 190lbs. i'm 17 years old. my diet consists of: i only drink water. i drink maybe 4- 5 bottles a day. one bottle with every meal. and then i drink off and on during the day. breakfast- a banana and some oatmeal. or a waffle with strawberries. lunch- a half of a turkey sandwich on wheat bread and strawberry spinach salad. (1 cup of spinach, 2 tablespoons of dressing, 2 strawberries) dinner- it changes from night to night since i'm still living at home and my mom makes dinner every night. but, rather than cutting out all good foods she makes, i'm just going to eat half of what i normally eat. snacks- i'll either have a banana with some peanut butter. (about 1 tablespoon of peanut butter) or i will just snack on some cauliflower or carrots. maybe even some spinach. my exercise plan: i live in a cold area and i don't have my license yet. (hopefully i'll get them in a month or two so i can get a gym membership) so, what i do daily is i walk 1 mile on the treadmill. (i split it up. i walk about .4 miles. do other exercises. walk .4 miles, then do the other exercises. then i finish off the mile.) the other exercises i do is i left two 12lb dumbbells. i do seated arm rows and i do a chest press with these. i do about 20 of these and i do that twice. then, i do about two sets of squats. and then i we have like a bowflex and i do some other arm exercise. i also do about 30- 40 sit ups. my question is, will i lose weight doing this and how fast do you think i'll see results? also, if you have any other tips for me to add to my diet or exercise, i'd appreciate it!

The key to losing weight and keeping it off is to find a balance that you will be able to maintain for the rest of your life. If you diet, then you'll have to diet forever b/ c the minute you go off it, you'll gain. Here's why I've been doing for the last month and a half and it's been working great for me...i excercise 6 days a week for 40 min a day...i'm going to eventually bump it up to 60 min which is ideal...i eat my meals regular...don't change them, eat what i would always eat...the only difference is that i portion it out...i eat just enough to start to feel full...if we order pizza, then i only eat a couple slices and fill up on something else...i cut out 90% of junk food... i eat yogurt and pudding cups as snacks...fruit... if i crave candy, i'll eat it in small portions...limit how much candy i eat in a day... here's the thing, you're gonna want to eat certain things and you'll always want to eat them...so if you diet and cut them out, u'll eventually go back to them after u've lost your desired weight and regain it all...so if you tell yourself there's nothing u can't eat, as long as you're smart about it and excercise daily, you should succeed... i've lost close to 10 in the last month...

Of course you'll lose weight! This is an excellent diet. The only thing you should do is put more variation into it so that you dont get sick of it.

You are doing great. Your nutrition plan/ guidelines are good too. For the cardio you could try the following which worked for me: Cardio 3-4 days a week of cardio exercise specifically interval training. For example: Warm up for 5 mins, 1 min of high intensity, 1 min and 30 secs of lower intensity, 1 min of high intensity, 1 mins 30 secs of lower intensity. I do this five times. One of my favorite exercises is running up and down high school bleachers. Also embrace the local hills, the steeper the better because they really get your heart rate up. You should be working to the point where you are breathing fast. Also Burpees and Mountain Climbers are great exercises to do at home. The strength exercises you are doing are good... I would do more squats and lunges. Try the Bulgarian Split Squat. Definitely start including push ups. Strength Training 2-3 times a week I do strength training. If no weights then focus on squats, lunges, push ups. If you have weights add them in as you go when you're ready. Most importantly listen to your body, if anything hurts or does not feel "right " don't do it. Nutrition I eat 5 meals a day on average between 350-450 calories per meal following a 50% carbs, 30% protein, 20% fat ratio. Monday - Cardio Tuesday - Strength Wednesday - Cardio Thursday - Strength Friday - Cardio Saturday - Cardio and Strength Sunday - Off to recover

This is a great one. I used to do this also. I am 5'4 and 130lbs. I want to be 110lbs. There's some tips for u in case of u give up because of the yummy food.^ ^ 1. Pick a day as " cheating day " in a week. Then u can eat all the stuff u want to eat in that day. 2. Do not weight urself everyday. Do it once a week or 10 days. 3. U need to creat a "punishment " and "reward " system. Ex: everytime u eat pizza when it is not cheating day, u put a dollar in a box. Same thing, everytime u did ur plan well or when u lost another 5lbs, eat a big meal u reli want at LUNCH. 4. Drink a bottle of wate right after u get up in the morning. 5.Eat the fruit before the meals 6. Find a person who can lose weight with u together. 7. Eat in day &Exercise at night 8. Use calories counter or record what u eat and how many calories EVERYDAY. I always tell myself 3 sentences when I reli hungry: 1. Hunger is good. It means u r thinner. 2. If u can not even control ur weight, how could u control ur life? 3. This is the last diet in ur life. After that , the rest of ur life u won't need to struggle in the word "FAT " . I am an ESL student so my English is weird haha.
