I am going on vacation in two weeks. I want to lose a little weight quickly before I go. I was thinking I would try the Atkins diet but I was worried that when I stopped I would gain all the weight back as soon as I ate a bite of bread. After I stopped doing the Atkins, I would eat a healthy low fat balanced diet. I don't want to do the Atkins diet for a long time. I worry about fat, cholesterol, and heart disease.
Varied breakfasts and meal ideas for Atkins diet anyone?
I've just started the Atkins induction phase and am already getting pretty sick of bacon sausage eggs and salad Does anyone know any alternative breakfast ideas or meal ideas to vary it a bit? I would usually have sausage bacon tomato for breaky and chicken ham salad for lunch plus a mixed meat onion tomato and pepper omlette for dinner but can't keep this up for two weeks Also, is there any form of sweet desert snacks allowed in the induction phase? Any help appreciated Plus would love to know other peoples results from first two weeks? Thanks Xx

Ok so I know that during the induction phase of atkins I can only eat 20 grams of carbohydrates.Can someone please give me a little " menu" to eat. For example breakfast lunch and dinner for a week. Also is it ok that i stay on induction for about 2 months?I read the book though Also how long were you on the diet and how much weight did you lose?Also what can i eat how much on the OWL phase

ok so i am on the atkins diet for health reasons and I am on day 3. FOr lunch i had taco meat with lettuce without the tortilla. However after I ate it I took a look at the nutrition facts and for the seasoning mix it says 4 net carbs per serving and it also has sugar in it. I am on the induction phase and wondering will I have to start over again.
