Need help in getting more protein in my diet?
It's not that I'm vegetarian, I just don't eat a lot of meat....or eat a lot of anything period except for salt LOL . I'm very lactose intolerant and where cottage cheese used to be a great source of protein for me is now a massive tummy ache. Peanuts and most nuts in general give me the same problems as milk. I can't handle plain chicken and don't put chicken in my salads either. Usually my lunch is a turkey and or ham sandwich with whole grain and mustard. I recognize and know I need to eat more protein as I am increasing in my weight training lifting but its just hard for me to down it. Any suggestions? In the summertime for breakfast I make smoothies soy protein and soy milk plus frozen fruit but that only holds me till maybe 9 and I'm famished.

Modifying diet to lose weight - protien vs carb/sugar calories?
I have been trying to make changes to my diet to lose some weight, and kind of reached a stopping point, so I was analyzing some things I am eating caloric intake wise, I am doing fairly well, but the content of what I eat I think may be causing me to keep weight on my body. For instance most mornings I eat cereal and fruit with skim milk, and hot tea or coffee. Its fine calorie wise, about 300 400 calories. But I am wondering, would it be better for shedding pounds if I changed to a mostly protein breakfast instead of the carbs sugars? For example if I ate say poached eggs and turkey bacon or turky sausage, no toast. If I consumed that same 300 400 calories in egg meat protiens then would my body respond better and would I lose more weight ? Thanks for any information on this.

Can anyone answer my questions about the P90X program and diet?!?
So I'm thinking about ordering the P90X program soon. From what I've heard it is a REALLY good program. But I have a lot of questions. First off, does alternating between weights and resistance bands give better results? Or will it make a difference if I just stick with weights? Also I'm a guy on my high school's cross country team so I'm already in fairly decent shape, but I do have a little noticeable body fat in some bad areas lower abs, small love handles, thighs, butt so I was wondering if the P90X program is good at stripping away fat and building definition. I'm a 16 year old guy I weigh between 145 and 150 pounds I'm about 5'6" or 5'7" and I run many miles a day. What kind of results do you think I'd get with this program? And how important is it that I use their protein drink? Can I just go get my own? What's a really good protein mix someone would recomend? I also want to hear some of your experiences with the program good or bad. How important is the whole diet part of it? Is it easy to follow? Is the food expensive? Please just tell me anything you know about it Thanks

Can anybody give me a basics for fat burning fruit diet? I heard it works and want maximim healthy results.?
Not freaky messed up weight loss, but natural healthy fat loss without losing too much muscle. Though a little muscle loss won't matter because i can build muscle really fast, its just covered up by fat.

I HATE HATE HATE the way i look. My mum always tells me that i'm not fat and i'm an really attractive young girl, then why did all the bullies call me fat? I've had enough, i want to have a perfect body, i don't want to be alone through my life, i'm 15 so i have a chance to change the way i look now, i'll do anything to look like all the pretty slim women girls on tv and magazines, people i know ect who i think if only i could look like you. I don't eat loads, i exercise too. I'm a size 12, 5ft 7, i've always been a big build, shoulders ect, i'm meant to be curvy and i want to be attractive so i'm going to change. I want to lose weight, legs and stomach area mostly.I'm going to eat Breakfast cracker bread's with margarineLunch cracker bread's some with margarine, some with low fat spread.Tea A small meal no fried foods or fatty foods Drink 1 cup of tea per day, rest water.Snack only if hungry cracker breadsIf i get hungry most of the time Water.I walk dogs everyday, 1 hour to 1 hour 30 mins per dayand i might start some skipping., is this a good way? do you think it'll work? i'm desperate.size 12 UK

Will i lose weight with this diet/exercise?
let me state first, i don't really care about numbers. i care about what i look like. i'm 5'2" about 190lbs. i'm 17 years old. my diet consists of i only drink water. i drink maybe 4 5 bottles a day. one bottle with every meal. and then i drink off and on during the day. breakfast a banana and some oatmeal. or a waffle with strawberries.lunch a half of a turkey sandwich on wheat bread and strawberry spinach salad. 1 cup of spinach, 2 tablespoons of dressing, 2 strawberries dinner it changes from night to night since i'm still living at home and my mom makes dinner every night. but, rather than cutting out all good foods she makes, i'm just going to eat half of what i normally eat. snacks i'll either have a banana with some peanut butter. about 1 tablespoon of peanut butter or i will just snack on some cauliflower or carrots. maybe even some spinach. my exercise plan i live in a cold area and i don't have my license yet. hopefully i'll get them in a month or two so i can get a gym membership so, what i do daily is i walk 1 mile on the treadmill. i split it up. i walk about .4 miles. do other exercises. walk .4 miles, then do the other exercises. then i finish off the mile. the other exercises i do is i left two 12lb dumbbells. i do seated arm rows and i do a chest press with these. i do about 20 of these and i do that twice. then, i do about two sets of squats. and then i we have like a bowflex and i do some other arm exercise. i also do about 30 40 sit ups.my question is, will i lose weight doing this and how fast do you think i'll see results?also, if you have any other tips for me to add to my diet or exercise, i'd appreciate it

Really bad skin after doing the atkins diet...?
I have been doing atkins for 3 weeks and have lost 12 pounds on the diet... and I feel great as when I look in the mirror, I can see that I am a lot smaller but my skin is horrible... I have bumps all over my face... is there any way to get rid of this bad skin? And do you know what causes it?
